Though Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom is definitely not Manhattan, make no mistake, there is yummy pizza to be found here.  And, everyone knows, kids–well, MOST of ’em–love pizza!

Northeast Kingdom Country Store (Downtown, East Burke). 626-4611.  Made to Order, while you wait, fresh Pizza.   You can’t go wrong in the kid department with a plain cheese.  Reasonable price for a pie.  Also offers slices.  Kids will enjoy watching the staff twirl the dough.

Burke Mountain’s Bear Den Lodge & Tamarack Grill.  (East Burke). 626-7390.  If you’re in the mood for pizza after a day on the trails and it just happens to be pizza night at the mountain, don’t miss it.

Tomassoni’s Wood Fired Pizzas.  (East Burke).  Makes wood-fired pizzas.
