2012 Easter Egg Hunts & Events for Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom Children

In anticipation of Easter and to celebrate the occasion, which by the way, takes place this year on Sunday, April 8, 2012, you’ll find a number of Easter events in and around Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.  So save these dates!

Danville (North):

• Easter Egg Hunt & Bake Sale, North Danville School Community Club, 10am-11:30am, Saturday, April 7, 2012.

Glover: 

• Easter Scramble, Glover Community School, Sat. April 7th, 1-2pm. Egg Hunt and More  Free.

Jay:

• Annual Underwater Hunt, April 6, 2012, 6:30 p.m., location Jay Peak Pump House. Underwater Egg Hunt costs $20/person and includes admission into the water park and participation in the egg hunt. Contact Newport Recreation for more info: (802) 334-6345

Orleans:

• Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Orleans Federated Church, April 7th, 10am-noon.  Sponsored by The Orleans American Legion Auxiliary Unit #23.

Newport:

• Land Egg Hunt, April 7, 2012, starting at 10 a.m., Prouty Beach.  In case of rain, will be held at Municipal Building.  Ages 2-9.  $3/person.  Wear a bonnet & score a prize.
• Annual Hayes Ford Easter Egg Hunt, 439 E. Main St., Newport, 10am.  Info call:  334-6587

Montpelier:

• Annual Egg Hunt in Hubbard Park, 33 Stewart Rd, Montpelier.  Event starts at 10 a.m., arrive by 9:45 a.m.  12 and under.  Info call: 229-5711.

St. Johnsbury

• Downtown St. Johnsbury Easter Fun Fest.  Saturday, April 7th, Downtown Railroad Street., 10am-2pm.  9:30am. Welcome Ctr. start.  Info here.
