Spring Running Races in Vermont’s Ultra-Beautiful Northeast Kingdom

Isn’t it amazing how a little bit of warmth and sunshine on a February day in Northern Vermont really cranks up Spring Fever? Mother’s Day Umbrella Fun Run 2012.   May 13, 2012.  Starts at the base of Burke Mountain in East Burke, VT.  5K, 10K, Kids’ 1/2 mile Fun Run.  $25 preregistration, includes BBQ & T-shirt.  $30 race day.  Supports Umbrella, which helps families and survivors of violence build safe, self-determined lives!  More info & registration here.

Dandelion Run.  May 19, 2012. Yankee Magazine calls it one of the best in Vermont Summer.  1/2 Marathon, 10K, Youth Fun Run.  More info & registration here.

Redneck 5K Run/Walk.  June 2, 2012. Route 2, Danville.  Run/Walk for Autism Awareness.  $15 preregistration  More info here.
