St. Johnsbury’s World Maple Festival Comes to the NEK April 27-28

Maple syrup fans in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom and beyond can celebrate everything maple syrup on April 27-28, 2012.   

That weekend is when the St. Johnsbury World Maple Festival comes to town.  The event kicks off with a family-friendly parade on April 27th at 6pm in downtown St. Johnsbury (starting and ending at the Welcome Center), followed by yummy ice cream for all!  Other events include the popular “Sap Lap” 5K running race, Kids Fun Zone, street festivities and vendors.  For more information check out the festival site here.
