Barn Dance Fundraiser for Burke’s Whitney Family at Riverside School

One of the things that makes the NEK truly unique is the way people come together to help others in the community.  Here’s just one of those very examples.

On Friday, August 17, 2012, there will be a barn dance and silent auction fundraiser for Peter Whitney and his family at Riverside School (Lyndonville).  The Whitneys who are active volunteers in the NEK community, prominently at Vermont Children’s Theater, were faced with Peter’s diagnosis of pancreatic cancer earlier this year.  The event is open to all and will include a BBQ and silent auction.  It takes place from 6-9pm.
