I’ve read Mama Says since it was first available as a newsletter years ago in shops around Montpelier. Today, thanks to Honi Bean Barrett’s post on the NEK Moms Facebook Page, my attention was drawn to the Mama Says blog post by a Northeast Kingdom woman’s (Janelle Nobel) lead-up to a life-changing diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. 2nd Annual Kingdom Trail Running & Walking Series – 2012
The Kingdom Trail Running & Walking Series kicks off tonight, July 10th at 6pm on Darling Hill Road in Lyndonville. Sponsored by St. Johnsbury Recreation and Kingdom Trails, this old-school stopwatch timed running and walking event is the perfect opportunity for families to get in shape, spend time together and make new friends. Choose to run or walk one or two loops (each is approximately 1.5 miles). All ages. All abilities. Kid-friendly! Walk or run with your little ones! Powers Park Summer Program 2012
You know Summer in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom is almost here when chatter about Powers Park swim programs (Lyndonville) starts. Here’s the scoop about Powers Park Swimming and Tennis Lesson Registration for 2012: Registration for Swim & Tennis Lessons starts June 15th at 10:30a.m. at Powers Park.
