Black Friday Sales, Plan Ahead Moms to Grab those Holiday Deals!

After spending days in the kitchen prepping for Thanksgiving, it only makes sense that moms want to get out and shop ’til they drop the day after.  If you’re hoping to find fabulous deals on Black Friday and a few days later on Cyber Monday, now is the time to start planning your strategy, especially if you’re planning excursions across town (or State!) to the big box stores.

There are a number of sites that already feature sneak previews of upcoming Black Friday sale flyers.  You can check out deals at sites like Black Friday 2010 or go to your favorite stores online to see if they’ve already announced enticing Black Friday deals.  For example, if you’re looking to stock up on holiday craft projects for the kids, Oriental Trading has already begun Black Friday Deals.

Remember, ’tis soon the season when credit cards fly–swipe by swipe–and scammers abound.  So this holiday shopping season (and throughout the year), don’t forget to exercise extra precautions to keep your personal information, like credit card numbers and account numbers, secure on and offline.  Keep your antivirus software up-to-date, don’t fall for scams such as those asking via email or phone for sensitive information or bank account verification (‘phishing), keep your purse or wallet close when out and about and your valuables/gifts safely stored.
