CSI February Break Camp Comes to Lyndon and Other Kids Science Camps Sponsored by UVM

Attention moms and dads of 4th-8th graders.  If you have a little sleuth or future crime scene investigator on your hands and you’re looking for an activity to keep him or her busy during the upcoming February break, this Lyndon Camp might be a dream come true:

CSI Camp – February 21st to February 25th at Lyndon Town School, 8:15 AM until 3:30 PM every day.  Sponsored by the University of Vermont Extension.  Open to all children in 4th-8th grades, including homeschoolers.  No charge to participate although space is limited.  Campers will learn how to examine evidence through hands-on instruction on finger printing, shoe print and tool mark analysis and other evaluation techniques used by real-life forensics experts.

at the UVM Extension Office in St. Johnsbury, 9:15 AM until 12:15 PM each day
This is FREE for all 4th-8th graders!

Discovery Science (k-3) at Sutton Town School, Sutton, Tuesdays 3:45-4:45
(January-February)

Digital Photography at Hazen High School, Hardwick, Wednesdays 2:45-4:15
(January)

Robotics at Lyndon Town School, Lyndon, Tuesdays 4:00-5:00
(March-April)

Veterinary Science at Hazen High School, Hardwick, Wednesdays 2:45-4:15
(this is extended, February through April)

Leadership Club at Lyndon Town School, Lyndon, Thursdays 4:00-5:00
(this is an optional program that will only run if enough students sign up for it.)

GPS & Geocaching Sutton Town School, Sutton, Fridays 3:30-4:30*
(*time may vary depending on hours of daylight.  this is also an extended program lasting through half of May).  Contact Candy (see info above) for more information.

Camp #2: Mad Scientist Week – April18th – April 22nd
