Moms (and Dads), if you’re looking for a new look this July, keep reading!  Autumn, the spunky and outgoing stylist, expert wax professional and owner of Charles Preston Salon in Lyndonville, just worked wonders on my head of hair today.  In need of a new style, I dropped by Charles Preston Salon today and met Autumn.

Within seconds of meeting her, I knew that this woman had the creative spark that would transform my unruly mom hair into cute, manageable locks.  The best part, this stylist spoke honestly about what she thought would look good on me and what look would match my mom lifestyle (i.e. my lack of time to blow dry, style, etc.).   I was also given practical style ideas and care suggestions that don’t require endless hours at home styling it each day–I love it when stylists take the time to do that!

Autumn also waxed my eyebrows while I waited for hair glaze to set (yep, I thought that was something reserved for cookies…obviously, motherhood has me spending more time in the kitchen than in the salon).  I’ve had my eyebrows waxed at many salons and honestly, this was a GOOD experience!
