If you’re in the mood for yummy, creative, gourmet pizza, beer (or root beer out of a bottle) and a down-to-Earth atmosphere that scores kid-friendly points, you may be interested in knowing that Trout River Brewery in Lyndonville is now open with extended Summer Hours through Labor Day. The restaurant is open Thursdays – Saturday, 5-9pm. Here’s a sure sign that Vermont’s beautiful Village of East Burke, home of the award winning Kingdom Trails, is ready for Summer weather: Chappy’s Ice Cream opened today for the 2012 season! This is a great spot for a family ice cream outing. Nice picnic tables. Green space for the kids to play. Plenty of parking. Located on Route 114 in East Burke, next to the River Garden Cafe. Make Your Own Pita Bread
My family blows through a lot of pita bread. It dawned on me one day that I should try making pitas.
