NEK Moms Save the Date: Bean & Brew Festival, Kids’ Winter Gear Sale

Brrrrr…. Okay, not yet, but it is time to start thinking about that winter gear stash and outfitting your kids for the winter season.  On October 9th, it looks like Jay Peak Resort in Vermont’s NEK will have the Annual Bean & Brew Festival along with a “massive winter gear sale.”  Event festivities include:  coffee & roasting demonstrations, locally brewed beer, live music by the Copper Kettle Band, all-u-can eat Oktoberfest buffet in Alice’s Table, blow-out, clearance deals on winter gear.  In Jay, there’s also the Jay Area Arts & Crafts fair going on that weekend.  The sale begins at 10:00a.m.  Bean & Brew kicks off at 11:00a.m.

Kid-friendly perk:  Kids under 6 eat free at the All-You-Can-Eat Oktoberfest Themed Buffet.  Fyi, apparently it’s a good idea to get advance Rez if you want to eat at Alice’s Table.
